Point Ellice House is a heritage property located in Victoria, British Columbia, and owned by the Provincial Government. It is open to the public, and its goal is to preserve, maintain and display the O´Reilly family archives, collection of artifacts, building and associated gardens in their historical context.

In 2015 the Board decided to open a Restaurant offering also breakfasts and lunches. The official launch date was on May 30th 2015, and was widely promoted in the Times Colonist, Buzz Victoria, Facebook, Twitter and Instagram.

 

Volunteer Victoria provides leadership to the non profit community since 1974. It is the primary recruitment and referral centre for Greater Victoria Region, providing leadership and training in volunteer and non-profit management.

Among other activities, each year more than 1100 individuals participate in training pportunities. 54% of all training is offered at no charge.

Internet for Humanity (REMCU) is a Registered Canadian Charity, located in Victoria, British Columiba. It´s goal is to establish and support reliable low-cost internet browsing and email systems in isolated and impoverished regions of the world; first with HF-Radios, then with cell-phone internet data since 2010.

In Uganda, they have installed 17 systems since 2011, and 13 are active (7 Farmer Co-ops, 5 Schools) impacting over 25,000 farmers and studentst.

 

 

Windmill Design is a jewelery retail store start up in Victoria BC. It is now in the stages of market research and sales online, planning to inagurate the store in March 2016. It focus in silver jewellery and women accesories as for example handbags and scarfs.

The main designer, Berenice Garcia, is also the owner although the store will be a common place for other local artists from British Columbia, as well as guests designers from Barcelona, Spain.
